Our Locations
New Mexico
New Mexico’s unique landscapes and diverse landowners make it a key focus for Asekia’s outreach efforts. Our Hispanic Forest Landowners Outreach Program is working to support and uplift traditionally underserved landowners across the state. In 2025, we’ll also begin offering guidance on Environmental Credit programs, helping landowners gain financial rewards for sustainable practices that benefit water, soil, and forest health.
Contact
Florida
Asekia’s outreach in Florida spans from the Georgia-Florida border to south of Miami, supporting Hispanic and underrepresented landowners through community-building and partnerships. With collaborators like the Florida Forestry Service, IFAS County Extension, and USDA-NRCS, we provide valuable educational resources and technical assistance to socially disadvantaged landowners.

Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico is home to more than 19,000 private forest landowners, nearly all identifying as Hispanic/Latino, making it an ideal starting point for outreach. Our team is interviewing landowners, surveying forestland, and providing technical assistance. Over 50 forest landowners have participated in the Hispanic Forest Landowners Outreach Program as part of our pilot project in Puerto Rico.
