What we do
Our Name
We chose the name Asekia as a tribute to the acequias of New Mexico, which symbolize the flow of water and the strength of community and shared responsibility. Just as acequias sustain agricultural lands through collective management of vital resources, Asekia Inc. fosters collaboration and supports empowering Hispanic farmers and landowners. Our name reflects our commitment to sustainability, cultural heritage, and the interconnectedness of communities working together for a thriving agricultural future.

Our Team
Asekia Inc. is an independent nonprofit organization that evolved from the outreach efforts of mano-Y-ola LLC. Both organizations continue to collaborate, sharing the same dedication to supporting and empowering Hispanic and underrepresented agricultural and forestry communities.
