Bats are essential pollinators in Puerto Rico and beyond. At this workshop, participants learned about the vital roles bats play in ecosystems and how to create habitat for them. The hands-on portion of the workshop provided participants with the opportunity to build bat boxes.

Ecotourism

Ecotourism provides farmers and forest landowners with an environmentally sustainable way to generate income. This workshop included discussion about how ecotourism can benefit forestry program participants and local ecosystems.
